(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Britney Spears is apparently "well aware of what the critics are saying about her."

The pop princess was recently named as one of the new judges on America's X Factor.

But there have been concerns that she was maybe not ready to be thrust back into the spotlight after being seen with bleeding bitten down nails and her history of emotional issues.

But RadarOnline claims that the 30-year-old is eager to do a great job and show people they're wrong about her.

"She is anxious to prove to everyone that she isn't just a ditzy blonde and she is hunkered down with [fianc Jason Trawick] who will be with her at all times during the auditions and filming," a source told the site.

"Britney has been asking a lot of questions about the process and is seeking advice from Simon Cowell about how she can be the best judge possible.

"She is aware of the comments that Howard Stern made about her recently, saying the only reason people would be tuning in to watch her is because she is a train wreck.
