Just recently it was reported that critically acclaimed and internationally renowned Indian actor Irrfan Khan will star in a period film based on 'Amrita Pritam'. 

The film where Irrfan's role is based on popular lyricist Sudhir Ludhiavni is about the mentioned poet's love life with an author. 

The film tentatively titled 'Imroze' will now have another strong male lead, as it is being said that Sushant Singh Rajput will join the star cast soon. Though his role in the film is still not clear, it is more or less confirmed that he will star in the film. 

As for the female lead is concerned, Kareena Kapoor Khan was reportedly the original choice to romance Irrfan on screen. But after she turned it down, we hear makers are keen on having Priyanka Chopra on board for the same.  

It remains to be seen who completes this stellar cast for this amazing biopic.
