(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Tara Reid admits she was "never really married".

In August this year Tara had a wedding with Bulgarian financier Zachary Kehayov in Greece.

However, speculation was rife that the ceremony was not legal in the US and therefore the couple were not officially married.

After coming off a flight in Los Angeles Tara confirmed that the union was not lawful in America to TMZ reporters.

The American Pie actress appeared dishevelled and was slurring her words.

When asked if she and Zachary could win US TV show The Newlywed Game, a show in which couples must answer question about one another, Tara was adamant they would not get very far.

"No, we would lose," she says in a video posted on the site. "Because we were never really married. No, it was not legal."

At the time of her wedding Tara was ecstatic about the events and took to Twitter to express her joy. She announced her engagement and her nuptials on the same day using the social networking website.

"Just got married in Greece," she tweeted. "I love being a wife!"

The ceremony took place just days before she entered British reality TV show Celebrity Big Brother in the UK.

Tara's representative has yet to comment on her remarks. (C) Cover Media
