(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Channing Tatum is convinced that Twilight will "sweep" at the 2012 MTV Movie Awards.

The hunky actor and his The Vow co-star Rachel McAdams earned a nod in the Best Kiss category at this year's ceremony.

Channing believes that the cast of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 are most likely to win the trophy for the hottest smooch.

"It doesn't matter. The Twilight kids always sweep it," he joked to MTV News. "They sweep it every time."

Although Channing has yet to take home a Best Kiss award, his colleague Rachel received the honour for locking lips with Ryan Gosling in 2005 film The Notebook.

Channing thinks Rachel's win was a bit of a corrupt triumph.

"Aww, that's not fair; they have rain," the actor said. "Everything's better in the rain, I definitely will take a second, backseat to Ryan [Gosling]."

Channing's upcoming film about sexy male strippers Magic Mike, which also stars Joe Manganiello, Matthew McConaughey and Matt Bomer, will be released in theatres later this month.

The 2012 MTV Movie Awards hosted by Russell Brand will take place this Sunday. (C) Cover Media
