(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Taylor Armstrong says she believes the reality television cameras may have contributed to her late husband's suicide.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star spoke to Dr Phil, in an interview airing on Thursday, about what she felt was behind Russell Armstrong's death.

She said that she is not 100 per cent certain as to the financier's state of mind when he hanged himself last month but she is not discounting their participation in the programme.

"I can't say what he was thinking at the time [of his death]," she told the talk show host.

"But what I can say is that I believe that if it weren't for the cameras, there's a change I wouldn't be sitting here with you today."

Russell was said to have been distraught over mounting financial issues, Taylor filing for divorce as well as the allegations that he had physically abused her.

Dr. Phil asked Taylor if she thought it was possible that Russell could have killed her too.

"One of my friends who is a reporter said that I didn't want to be standing outside of your house reporting on a murder suicide," Taylor agreed tearfully.

Taylor is raising their five-year-old daughter Kennedy and Russell also left behind two sons from previous relationships. (C) Cover Media
