Matt Lauer and Meredith Vieira admitted on television that they were fans of his voice after hearing Ted Williams belting it out on a YouTube video which by now has become a rage among millions of people all over the world. According to reports in the media, it was a reporter who first realized the potential of the homeless, clothesless Ted Williams and decided to post his unique talent on the video sharing site.

He may be all of 53 years of age but Ted Williams has not lost hope. His first wish, now that he is leading a civilized life, is to reunite with his mother, who is scared that her son may take the wrong path again as he gains more and more popularity and thus money.

Ted Williams, on the other hand is confident that he has learnt his lesson the hard way and will never be anywhere close to drugs or booze ever again in life. A good life for Ted Williams also means that he will get back the lost love of his ex wife and his five children with her. Ted Williams made his first television appearance on the Today show after he was recovered from the Columbus Ohio intersection where the man rendered homeless, stoned for a couple of years. His first professional assignment will be for the voice-over of the Kraft Macaroni & Cheese brand.
