Govinda boogies like no one else; his dancing skills could put a younger actor from the current lot to shame. The B-town's most- prized comic hero and dancing superstar turns 49 today.

Born as Govind Ahuja on December 21, 1963 in a filmy family, his parents were both actors and his mom was a singer. During his college days, Govinda was apparently obsessed by Mithun Chakraborty's 'Disco Dancer' which became a game changer as far as his dancing skills are considered.

Right from his debut film in Illzaam to Love 86, Raja Babu, Coolie No.1, Beti No. 1, Jodi No.1 , the actor turn politician delivered some of the biggest hits in Bollywood one after another with many chartbuster numbers.

Recently, the dancing maestro was seen in Partner, Life Partner, Naughty @ 40 and has made several special appearances.
