The 'Dashing Mark Wahlberg' turns 41 today!!!

Named No. 1 on VH1's 'Hottest Hotties of the 90's', Mark Robert Michael Wahlberg turns 41 today. The American actor, film and television producer and former rapper, also known as 'Marky Mark' in his earlier years became famous when he debuted as a frontman with the band 'Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch'.

Born in Dorchester neighbourhood of Boston, Massachusetts and the youngest of nine children, Wahlberg had a Roman Catholic upbringing and attended Copley Square High School but he never graduated.

Wahlberg first came to fame as Donnie Wahlberg's younger brother in the boy band 'New Kids On The Block'. However, he quit soon. He later began recording for 'Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch' earning a hit with 'Good Vibrations' from the album 'Music For The People'.

Mark Walhberg is best known for his hit movies like, 'Boogie Nights', 'Three Kings', 'The Perfect Storm', 'Planet of the Apes', 'Rock Star', 'The Italian Job', 'I Heart Huckabees', 'Four Brothers', 'The Departed' and many more.

Though Wahlberg had a tough life earlier, he succumbed to his emotional phase and is now well known to all.
