Abbie Cornish, the heroine of the hit Sucker Punch turns a year older today. Prior to her international fame, the Australian actress has won the Breakthrough Award at the 2008 Australians in Film Awards in Los Angeles and today she has been developing into an authentic artist. The beautiful actress became a tabloid darling when she and Ryan Phillippe met at the filming of Stop-Loss in August 2006, their relationship ended in February 2010.

At the age of thirteen, the Australian beauty embarked on a successful and sensational career when she began taking jobs as a model after reaching the finals of a Dolly Magazine competition. Cornish is famous for her award-winning lead performance in 2004’s Somersault and  internationally for her role as Fanny Brawne in Bright Star and her appearance as Sweet Pea in the much celebrated Sucker Punch.
