Now, that's how a trailer should look like, absolutely intriguing, unwinding every pivotal character from the film. Revolving around the central character of Akshay Kumar who plays a Bengali Hockey player with one aim in his heart to raise India's flag on winning the match, to play as a free nation.

While Mouni Roy is spot on in her Bengali attire and accent and we went wow to finally see her on the big screen with the character she essayed. The trailer is about uniting a Hockey team for India and all the supporting characters are introduced in some style. We are taken away by the Patriotic storm as Akki dominatingly says holding the Indian flag in his hand, "Ek din hamara Hindustaan azaad hoenga aur fir hum Gold jeetega aur humara jhanda lehraega, hum Long Live the King nahi gaega apna rashtragaan gaega."

Well, the trailer is crisp, precise and perfect giving us a short intro to the rest of the characters that left an astonishing mark in our head. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Mouni Roy, Kunal Kapoor, Amit Sadh, Vineet Singh, Sunny Kaushal and Nikita Dutta. Helmed by Reema Kagti, Gold is slated to release on August 15, 2018.
