(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Director Tyler Perry's Atlanta-based movie studios are engulfed in flames.
TMZ reports that firefighters responded to a four-alarm blaze on Tuesday night at the facilities.
Tyler's studios include five sound stages, a backlot, office headquarters and a 400-seat theatre spread out over 200,000 square feet. Reportedly there has been a partial collapse to one or two of the buildings, but it is unknown exactly where on the compound the blaze is burning.
The Atlanta Police Department has confirmed to the publication that there are no known injuries or deaths at this time.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown and authorities are actively trying to extinguish it.
Tyler's representatives have yet to comment on the calamity.
The director currently has movies Madea's Witness Protection and The Marriage Counselor in post-production.
He has spoken previously about the passion he has for his work.
"These messages and things that are trying to be conveyed in [film For Coloured Girls] are not mine, they are Ntozake's," he revealed. "They are messages of strength. They are message of hope. They are messages of, 'no matter what the tragedy, get up'. And I think that as people walk out of the theatre some people will feel that." (C) Cover Media
