(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Vanessa Hudgens has revealed that she is happy being single following her split from Zac Efron.

The pair met on the set of the successful High School Musical franchise and dated for over four years before announcing their split in December last year.

The actress, who is currently promoting her latest movie Sucker Punch, revealed that their relationship simply fizzled out due to the pressures of their work schedules.

Nobody even knows what happened, she told British magazine Look. Im happy and Im excited about life [It wasnt really scary to be single] because the most amazing part about life is exploring the unknown. I have my family, who Im close to, and my moms always by my side so Im fine.

The 21-year-old also who has been romantically linked to actor Josh Hutcherson - insists that she isnt looking for love at the moment.

Vanessa explained that for now, she is focusing on her work and that she believes that romance happens when you least expect it.

No, Im really happy embracing this moment. Right now I feel so happy and I have so much going on, I dont necessarily need a guy. Love comes when youre not looking, so Ive decided Im not going to look, she said.

The gorgeous brunette also admitted that while she is getting plenty of attention, she likes to play it cool.

Although she enjoys being single, the Disney star revealed that she still knows how to wrap boys around her little finger but rarely approaches potential suitors herself.

I dont really! In fact, Im like, Come on, bring em on!, she said. Ive had two or three guys come up to me and try to get my digits with small talk but when I meet a guy Im not flirtatious, Im just very casual. It seems to work because they keep coming back. (C) Cover Media
