Before his 2002 Hit and Run case chapter resumes, superstar Salman Khan falls under another legal trouble. 'Veer' producer, Vijay Galani sued Salman for defamation demanding a staggering Rs.250 crore.
Salman approached Galani to produce 'Veer' and Galani gave him signing amount of 10 crore. A contract was signed between Galani, Salman and Eros mentioning that once the film releases and recovers cost, the actor would be paid another Rs 15 crore.
But 'Veer' failed at box office far from reaching recovering cost following which Salman sought a copy of agreement from Galani and once Galani sent it to Salman, he wanted certain changes on the agreement to suit his interest.
When Galani refused, Salman approached CINTAA but the association favored producer. The case has been going many rounds and now Galani has fined a defamation case for Rs. 250 crore against Salman alleging that the actor's attitude has caused a dent on his reputation as a producer.
