(Cover) - EN Showbiz - David Beckham is pleading with his pregnant wife Victoria to slow down during her pregnancy, according to reports.

The 36-year-old style icon recently announced she is expecting her fourth child with David, and is due to give birth in the summer. Victoria is said to be struggling with nausea and exhaustion, which she hoped would have subsided after the first 12 weeks. David is believed to be concerned about Victorias workload and wants to make sure she is getting enough rest.

Shes not sleeping well anyway, but having to get up to go to the toilet in the middle of the night means shes not getting the rest she needs and shes waking up feeling awful and nauseous, a source told Closer magazine.

Despite David urging her to relax, Victoria is set on fulfilling vital commitments during the fashion worlds busiest time of year. The designer jetted to New York last week to attend fashion week, where she showcased her latest collection. She has even joked that she doesnt have time in her schedule to be pregnant right now.

While soccer star David is eager to look after his pregnant wife, Victoria is determined to be taken seriously in the fashion world. The fashionista is still dressing to impress stepping out in skinny leather trousers and a pair of Christian Louboutin heels last week.

For Victoria, being hailed as a proper dress designer is still new and fresh. She has worked so hard to be taken seriously, its not like she can just sit on her laurels and wait for the applause, the source added.
