The hunt for the female leads for Rajinikanth’s 'Kochadaiyaan' continues, as the makers of the film are considering the topmost actresses for the movie. We hear that the makers of the upcoming movie are planning to approach actresses Vidya Balan and Asin.

Rumour mills has it that Vidya Balan and Asin are also in the race to play one of the female leads in 'Kochadaiyaan'. Along with the above-mentioned actresses, Anushka Shetty has also been approachedto act opposite Rajinikanth in the multilingual film.

 Actress Sneha has been signed to play Rajinikanth’s sister in Kochadaiyaan. As far as the technical part is concerned, Oscar Award winner AR Rahman and cinematographer Rajiv Menon have been roped in for the movie.

Kochadaiyaan is loosely inspired by Pandya king, Kochadaiyan Rana Dheeran. The movie directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth is being made by the 'motion capturing' technique. It is produced by Eros International & Media One and expected to hit the screens in August 2012.
