Vidya Balan is currently the top league actress with most of the coveted awards and back to back commercially and critically successful films in her kitty. But there are still few unfulfilled desires which keep her craving for more. 

While she has already expressed her desire to work with Shah Rukh Khan, she recently confessed that she always wanted to do double roles in some or the other capacity. "I have always wanted to do a double role, only Sridevi and Hemaji (Hema Malini) have done it so far," said Vidya who finally got the opportunity to play a double role through an endorsement deal. 

Vidya, who was recently signed as the brand ambassador for a snack brand, shot for a commercial where she has played double roles of 'Parineeta' and 'Silk Smitha' in the same frame. "This snack is a perfect marriage between healthy and tasty, and then in this ad I was getting to play a double role. We don't have double roles for some reason in films anymore, so this offer was too good to be true. Too many things fitted my bill," added Vidya on justifying her act in the ad film. 

"The ad took me back to Parineeta. I was getting to do all these things - Parineeta and Silk as diametrically different as possible in the ad film, and make a point, for the ad, and for myself," stated Vidya who is evidentially happy being a part of the campaign.

The talked about ad will go on air in the first week of June.
