Once upon a time, Bollywood used to remake films from down south, and now the trend has changed. The latest remake will be of the hit Bollywood movie Delhi Belly.

By now we all know that Arya and Santhanam will play the lead roles in the Kollywood version of blockbuster Hindi film Delhi Belly. Producers UTV Motion Pictures have now confirmed that director Kannan will wield the megaphone and the rest of the crew will be decided soon. However the team is on a hunt for a suitable title now. Hansika and Anjali are the leading ladies.

The latest buzz is that Bollywood actor Vijay Raaz is likely to reprise his role in the Tamil remake as well.

Interestingly the film will be remade in Tamil without the swear words. Starring Imran Khan, Poorna Jagannathan, Shenaz Treasuryvala, Vir Das, Kunal Roy Kapoor and Vijay Raaz in pivotal roles, Delhi Belly narrates the story of two friends.

Delhi Belly is Aamir Khan's most irreverent film to date, with the most off-colour jokes, gags and dialogues, so much so that the movie is yet to get censor clearance for TV telecast, despite being toned down! Such a film is being remade in Kollywood. Director Kannan will have a task to bring back flavour of the movie in Tamil.
