The cast and crew of 'Deiva Thirumagal', directed by A L Vijay, organized a thanksgiving function in Chennai on Thursday, which was attended by National-award winning filmmaker Bala. All the artistes including Vikram, Anushka, Amala Paul and M S Baskar were present on the occasion.

Dhananjayan of UTV Films, who released the film, thanked the media who supported the film and reiterated the fact that it was team work that made the movie a huge success.

Director Vijay took the opportunity to honor each and every person involved in the making of the movie.

Heaping laurels on Vijay, Vikram said, “He brought out the innocence and simplicity in the lead role played by me. He is the real hero.”
Anushka thanked the team for giving her an opportunity to perform such a meaty role, while Amala Paul expressed her delight to have shared the screen with Vikram.

Music composer G V Prakash, editor Antony and art director Santhanam were among those present on the occasion.
