"I want to start production house to encourage new talent. It's a way to give something back to the industry which has given me so much", says actor Surya. He was speaking at the audio launch of Murugadoss Productions' maiden venture 'Engeyum Eppodhum'. Surya said that he would start his production venture around the same time next year.

'Engeyum Eppodhum' features Jai, Anjali, Sharvanand and Ananya, is directed by Murugadoss's former assistant Saravanan. This film also marks the entry of Hollywood's Fox Star Studios into Tamil cinema. It has music by Sathya.

Saravanan was all praise for his producer and mentor Murugadoss. He said that Murugadoss was very supportive and motivated him a lot to give his best. Jai and Sharvanand said they were very excited about their roles and said they were delighted to be a part of this prestigious project. Anjali said that it had been a wonderful experience and there had been no ego hassles. Ananya praised the whole team and said she was delighted to have bagged such a wonderful character so early in her career.

The movie revolves around two couples whose paths converge in an unexpected manner ending in a grand climax.
