Pradesh and Santosh are producing a film titled 'Raja Pattai' under the banner of S P Creations. Vikram and Deeksha Seth are in the lead roles. Mathi is handling the camera, while Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing the music for the lyrics penned by Yugabharathi. Seenu Vasan has written the story, while Bhaskar Sakthi has penned the dialogues. Suseentharan has written the screenplay and is directing this film. The shooting of this film commenced recently.

Vikram, while speaking to the media said, "I have seen the films 'Vennila Kabadi Kulu', 'Naan Mahan Alla' and 'Azhagar Saamyin Kuthirai'. This film, 'Raja Pattai' is totally different from these films. I am donning different kinds of roles in each film. I was interested in acting in a mass film like 'Dhool' and 'Sam. Now, that has been fulfilled with the film 'Raja Pattai'. I am playing the role of a gym boy. For of this, I am doing strenuous workouts. This film has all the interesting factors like romance, comedy and action."
