Woody Allen: Making movies is easy

19th December 2010

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Woody Allen has claimed moviemaking isnt as hard as it looks.

The 75-year-old director has enjoyed a lengthy Hollywood career, and is cited as an inspiration to many of todays top actors and moviemakers.

Woody began his career in the 60s, and he has continued to be successful to this day, with his latest movie starring Freida Pinto You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger receiving critical acclaim.

The talented star remains modest about his career though, and has claimed making films comes easy to him.

Its not as hard as it looks! he told Total Film.

Woody has completed several of his movies in under a year, unlike many directors who sometimes spend years preparing films. The star admits one of the reasons he works so quickly is a lack of budget, and he spends most of his time writing scripts.

A year is a long time. It takes months to write a film, but I dont have a lot of money to shoot my films so I cant shoot them for six months, he added. (C) Cover Media
