Shankar's directorial '2.0' starring Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth in the lead has finally hit the box-office and the film is doing wonders when it comes to the box-office collection. Following a mega release, the makers have been strict to the issue of Piracy.

The Madras High Court has ordered in favour of the makers to block over 12,000 websites to prevent the film from being leaked online. The list includes 'TamilRockers', which is one of a spamming websites that runs piracy down south. A total of 37 internet service providers (ISPs) to block over 12,000 websites to prevent piracy of this film. 

As per the media reports, Lyca's counsel Vijayan Subramanian produced an extensive list of 12,564 illegal websites and made sure that immediate action is taken in order to avoid the film being leaked online.

Directed by Shankar, '2.0' has released in five languages including in countries like China and Pakistan. Lyca Productions has acquired all exploitation and distribution rights including theatrical and music. Well, with this huge step taken, it will only help to increase the box office numbers as the audience will avoid watching the pirated versions of the film.
