Rani Mukerji's comeback film 'Hichki' has shown a steady growth in the box-office numbers over its first-weekend collection. This Siddharth Malhotra directorial based on an aspirational teacher Naina Mathur who is a victim of Tourette's syndrome gets her dream job of teaching in a school she studied. This time the journey gets tougher as she is set to teach 9th F class of students from the slum who are pranksters.

Fri 3.30 cr, Sat 5.35 cr. Total: ₹ 8.65 cr [961 screens]. India biz.'' Made in a budget of 10 cr these numbers look pretty positive.
Rani played a character of Naina Mathur who makes strange hiccup sounds which is uncontrolled and basically a nervous defect. The film beautifully promotes an inspirational message that how society doesn't accept the financially backward students and they even discriminate them on economic grounds. This is a well-intentioned film that even talks about how educating pattern in our educational institutes should be.
The film will enjoy decent box-office run till Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani's next release 'Baaghi 2'. Final box-office figures will make things clear and this inspirational flick that can get tears rolling down your cheeks is also going great by word of mouth publicity.
