Ranveer Singh will be next seen as a desi cop in Rohit Shetty directorial 'Simmba' and the film also stars debutant Sara Ali Khan. Sharing the excitement towards the film, the 'Padmaavat' actor shared the behind the scene clip from the sets of Simmba mentioning that it is his careers grand song shoot.

Getting involved in his character so much Ranveer is gifted with a caricature of his role as cartoon sketch by one of his fans and the actor even tweeted his comic avatar via his official twitter handle. Ranveer shared the pic and tweeted "AALA RE AALA #Simmba AALA  #rohitshetty @karanjohar."

This comic avatar is quirky and has Ranveer in his character of Sangram Bhalerao in the attire of a cop wearing stylish aviator holding the gun in his hand and giving a smile. 

Adapted from the Telugu hit film 'Temper', Simmba is scheduled to shoot at Hyderabad, Goa and Mumbai. The film is bankrolled by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions as well. It is slated to release on December 28, this year.

On the work front, Ranveer has already finished the shooting for Zoya Akhtar directorial 'Gully Boy' which is set to release on February 14, 2019. It stars Alia Bhatt opposite Ranveer and is produced under the banner of Excel Entertainment.

Post-Simmba, Ranveer will start shooting for Kabir Khan's next, where he will essay the role of legendary cricketer Kapil Dev. The film which will release on August 30, 2019. Here is the comic avatar of Ranveer Singh aka  Sangram Bhalerao.
