Akshay Kumar will soon travel to Birmingham, U.K., to watch the India-Pakistan, International Cricket Council (ICC) Championship match, where the actor will promote his forthcoming next 'Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai Dobara' (OUATIMD).
Akshay who is personally a huge cricket fan, is currently holidaying in New York and will cut short his trip to travel to Edgbaston Stadium to watch the match, a tryst that has always proved lucky for his films.
While the period-entertainer directed by Milan Luthria, will see the actor essay the role of a cricket-loving gangster, the makers keeping in mind the essence of the film and Akshay's role, thought it is a great idea to promote the film at the stadium.
Confirming the news says Tanuj Garg, CEO Balaji Motion Pictures, "Yes Akshay Kumar a.k.a. Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai Dobara's Shoheb will attend the India-Pakistan match at Edgbaston Stadium, U.K. Though he will not don his look in the film, Akshay has had a long tryst with cricket, so the ongoing ICC made for an ideal platform to promote the film."
Balaji Motion Pictures' 'OUATIMD' starring Akshay, Imran Khan and Sonakshi Sinha is scheduled to release on August 15.
