(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Amanda Bynes has pleaded not guilty in her DUI case.

The 26-year-old actress was arrested in April under suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

But her lawyer Richard Hutton entered her plea during an arraignment in a Los Angeles courtroom today saying his client is innocent.

Amanda has been charged with one misdemeanor count and the District Attorney is reportedly seeking an enhanced sentence because the starlet refused a breathalyser or a blood test during the incident.

The Easy A actress has strenuously denied the charge and even tweeted President Barack Obama yesterday saying she doesn't drink and to "please fire the cop who arrested me."

"Amanda maintains she wasn't drunk, and is vowing to fight the charges," a source close the actress told RadarOnline.

Amanda had also allegedly hit a police car during the episode. If convicted she could face up to six months in jail but would only likely serve a few hours due to jail overcrowding. (C) Cover Media
