(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Andrew Garfield says he had an instant "spark" with his co-star Emma Stone.

The pair star together in The Amazing Spider-Man and are also in a two-year romantic relationship.

And the actor says their chemistry blossomed from the moment they first worked together.

"She screen tested with me and it was really just a beautiful day of like a spark and we just had a fun time really and we played," Andrew told Access Hollywood. "It was playful."

Andrew plays Peter Parker to Emma's Gwen Stacy which he says is what really makes the movie shine.

"That's so important to have a spark. That a lucky thing," Andrew explained. "It's fantastic when two actors find a way of working together that compliments [them] because we're different actors. We're opposites in a lot of ways and I think that makes sense."

Emma also revealed the moment that her beau took her breath away when he first walked onto the set in his tight Spidey costume.

"He was very quiet. He was completely overwhelmed," she shared. "I was in my Gwen getup and everyone on set was like, You're on set with Spider-Man.' It was such an incredible moment and I touched him." (C) Cover Media
