With the release of 'Bombay Velvet' last Friday, there have been criticisms and praises of the pros and cons of the film and the acclaimed director of the film, Anurag Kashyap took the criticism on Facebook on Sunday writing a long note and tagging the team, saying that he wasn't depressed by the lukewarm response to his ambitious project.

Anurag always wanted to make this film and would continue to make films. He also said that he has no intentions to leave the director's chair, rather he would leave the criticism behind.

Reportedly, the film has just managed to rake in Rs. 5.20 crore on the first day which was much lower than expected.
