The living legend Asha Bhosle, has innumerable hit songs to her credit. The woman of substance has commemorated Indian music with her performances. Now, the lady with a golden voice is upset with film-makers who pick golden classic songs and remix them for their own benefit. The legendary singer who was present at the mahurat party of her first film as an actress, namely 'Maaee' shared her displeasure over remixes with media. Asha Bhosle was of the opinion that only fools can pick up a classic hit number to ruin its triumph.
The reaction came in the form of her take on her song 'Dum maaro dum' remixed into 'Mit jaaye gham'. Asha Bhosle who originally had sung the famous song in 'Hare Krishna Hare Ram' in the 70's, feels that such songs are masterpieces of people like R.D. Burman and the songs shouldn't be used and modified for their selfish benefits. Though Asha Bhosle didn't voice any staunch comments against the latest 'Dum Maaro Dum' track. her displeasure was quite evident for the world to see.
