(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Ashley Greene feared she was going to get arrested when her boyfriend Joe Jonas carried knives into an airport.

The 23-year-old Twilight actress became red-faced when the security personnel discovered the silver blades in Joes luggage at Abu Dhabi airport.

The brown-haired musician, who has been dating Ashley for four months, had bought a cheese-cutting knife set during their trip away and had stored it in the wrong suitcase.

When the lovers were stopped by security all Joe, 21, had to say in his defence was, Whoopsies!

Whoopsies doesn't cut it," Ashley revealed she had said to Joe on the Lopez Tonight show. "We were going to get arrested! It was embarrassing.

The pair had been flying back into New York from an exotic location so security was tight and the actress, who plays the character of Alice Cullen in the Twilight film saga, confessed that she was surprised the penalty for the pair wasnt greater.

The brunette star admitted they were lucky to get home to America that day thanks to her partners thoughtless antics.

"We were going from the Middle East to New York, so [there was] tons of security, tons of screenings," Ashley said. "We got through one, surprisingly enough." (C) Cover Media
