Jaya Bachchan terming 'Happy New Year' a nonsensical flick has apparently irked King Khan. Post Jaya's rude statement it was reported that Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek Bachchan apologized to Shah Rukh Khan.

Big B not only sent him an apology message, but Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek too visited Khan's residence to apologize.

On their visit to Mannat, it was only Gauri Khan who greeted the couple, while SRK chose not to meet them.

"HNY is the most nonsensical film I've seen in recent years. I said that to the film's lead actor as well. I watched it only because Abhishek was part of it. I told him he's a great actor if he can act stupid in front of the camera like that. I can't be part of what is being done in films these days and hence I don’t do films anymore".
