(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Blake Shelton doesn't regret his years spent "raising hell" but is glad he's more settled now.
The country music star has won a new army of fans thanks to his role as a mentor on talent television show The Voice. On the show he seemed caring and fun loving, but Blake admits he used to be much wilder.
He married fellow country musician Miranda Lambert last month and credits her with helping him turn his life around.
"I was a single male country singer raising hell, going out after concerts to bars and drinking and doing whatever I wanted. And why the hell not? I wouldn't take it back, either," he told Us Weekly.
"Man, I don't know where in the hell I got the energy! I'm getting old now, and my hair's going grey."
Blake, 35, started dating 27-year-old Miranda in 2006. She helped him learn about the important of routine and also made him realise life isn't all about partying.
Although the star still enjoys going out from time to time, his favourite moments are those spent at home with his new wife.
"I grew tired of going out drinking until 7am and then waking up at noon and eating pizza," he explained. "Now if I want to go drinking, I only want to sit at the house with Miranda watching Snapped on TV at home. It's crazy because even if I'm just out on her bus while she's on the road or watching her do her shows, I'm 100% comfortable because she is there. She really is that rock for me and the centre of all of this." (C) Cover Media
