Bradley Cooper: I would risk injury for movie

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Bradley Cooper would have been prepared to go to hospital for his new movie.

The 36-year-old movie hunk is currently promoting thriller Limitless, which recounts the tale of a copywriter who discovers a drug which lends him superhero-style abilities.

The film also stars Robert De Niro and Abbie Cornish, with Bradley portraying lead character Eddie Morra. The part required some rather risky stunts, including jumping into water from a cliff. Bradley was advised not to film that scene due to health reasons, so a stunt double did it instead, although the heartthrob joked he would have gladly put his safety at risk.

"I have a hole in my ear so I can't actually go into the water like that," he told ET at the films New York premiere yesterday.

"I probably would've done it actually, like an idiot, and been in the hospital."

The action man was happy to fulfil all other stunt obligations though, boasting that he filmed everything else himself.

While Bradleys character in the movie embarks on some rather wild adventures once he discovers the fictional power drug, the star admits he probably wouldnt be so adventurous if such a medicine became available. The actor is passionate about linguistics, and is already fluent in French, so he would use the imaginary drug to improve his language and musical abilities.

"I would probably learn as many languages as I could and then I'd probably learn to play instruments - pretty boring," he blushed. (C) Cover Media
