(Cover) - EN Fashion - Bryan Ferry chose Kate Moss to pose for the cover of his new album because she is the femme fatale of our era.
Bryan became one of the biggest names in music when he shot to fame with the British rock band Roxy Music in the 70s.
The musician still has a successful career today, and he thought British supermodel and style icon Kate would be perfect for the cover of his latest album Olympia because shes so seductive.
I normally use unknown women its nice to discover girls for that kind of thing. But this time I thought it would be a good idea to ask Kate, because shes a great femme fatale of our era, Bryan said.
Bryan added that securing a deal with Kate wasnt difficult, because shes always been a fan of his music.
It turns out she was delighted to do it, she was a big fan of the music, and it worked out fantastically, he beamed.
The cover and inside photographs show a red-lipped Kate lying in a bed looking provocative in a diamond necklace, with only the bed sheets to cover her famous body.
Bryan explained the pictures of the 36-year-old model were inspired by the French Impressionist painter douard Manet's celebrated painting Olympia.
The musician is a huge fan of the 19th-century painter, who he says was a huge inspiration for Roxy Musics album covers in the 70s.
It was kind of an early pin-up, really, of this beautiful woman lying on a bed; its an early prototype for the Roxy covers, if you like, he explained. (C) Cover Media
