Bolywood actress Celina Jaitley on behalf of PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) India has filed a police complaint against a MLA for captivating a young Elephant named 'Sunder'.

The complaint was filed against the elephant's mahout, Hyder and MLA Vinay Kore at the Colaba police station on Monday.

Talking about the complaint Celina says, "I just could not take the constant flow of merciless/heartless evidence of Sunder's state pouring in from our brave undercover investigators of Peta India."

"Sunders plight is heart rending, we are such hippocrates on one hand we worship the elephant and on another hand we rip our Gods creation piece by piece so mercilessly and brutally the irony in Sunders case being, he is being tortured to be trained to work for Gods own house. I am sure Gods are angry too. We had to do something and we did it. This is my way of devotion to lord Ganpati," Celina added.

The fight to save Sunder has been up from quite some time now. 

PETA has been campaigning since 2012 and many other celebrities have also voiced their opinion regarding this matter.
