(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Dolly Parton says the busier she is, the better off [she] is.

The 65-year-old songstress is famed for her hugely successful country music career. The vocalist, who is renowned for her distinctive soprano tones, says she is grateful for her busy lifestyle, because she needs an outlet for her liveliness.

I have a lot of energy, I am just one of those people who has a lot of energy. And I love my work, she said in an interview with a British TV show. But I am glad I have had a lot to do, and I love to write and to sing.

The blonde singer is co-owner of Sandollar Production company, which produced shows including Buffy the Vampire Slayer and feature films such as Father of the Bride. Dolly also co-owns The Dollywood company which operates a theme park and water park amongst other things. Dolly says she appreciates being in business because shes around clever people.

I have my own production company and Dollywood, so the busier I am the better off I am. I really have enjoyed my life all the way through, I started when I was around ten years old and I havent let up since, she explained. I surround myself with intelligent people, all the businesses I have I put people who are smarter than me in the right places. I dont go into business unless I know what I am doing.
