(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Drew Barrymore says she could still end up crazy and living in a weird house with a lot of cats.

The 35-year-old actress is one of Hollywoods best-loved stars, and in addition to her successful career, is known for her dramatic personal life. She has been through two divorces and went to rehab for the first time when she was 13.

Drews life is relatively drama-free at the moment, although the star has joked there is still time for her to go crazy.

Yeah, it's never too late for me to go crazy and live in a weird, decrepit house with a lot of cats, she laughed when Irish website movies.ie suggested she could have let fame drive her mad.

Drews career has been on great form recently her directorial debut Whip It received international acclaim and her role in the romantic comedy Going the Distance has been praised - but admits going through a difficult time in recent years due to her hectic work load.

I unfortunately had a few hard years there - because it all took several years to sort of culminate all this goodness, and I think I just worked too much through it. And now I really like to take the time to recognise and bask in the positivity of it, explained Drew.

Nowadays, Drew has learnt to appreciate how fortunate her life has been, and when she looks back on her career she feels immensely proud.

Because it is an amazing time in my life, and I'm very, very lucky. And it's funny, you have to work so hard to achieve all that goodness, so you do think about the work more than the achievements, she added. (C) Cover Media
