Looks like "Eega" is flying high. For, the release rights of the S S Rajamouli directed film in Andhra Pradesh have been sold for a whopping Rs 5.5 crore, if reports are to be believed.

A bilingual, the movie's Tamil version titled "Naan Ee" is being produced by PVP Cinema, while its Telugu version is funded by Rajamouli himself. It is said a leading producer has bagged the Telugu distribution rights from Rajamouli for Rs 5.5 crore.

Touted to be a sci-fi comedy thriller, "Eega" has Nani and Samantha in lead roles. The movie's shooting is taking place on a fast track in Chennai, Hyderabad and other areas.

According to sources, Samantha is playing a young woman whose lover (Nani) is murdered by a baddie. How she takes revenge on the evil element with the help of her boyfriend who takes rebirth as a fly is the story of "Eega".
