(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Ellen DeGeneres has been hunting for her Christmas presents while Portia de Rossi is away.

The 52-year-old talk show host met actress Portia, 37, in 2004, and they married four years later, becoming one of Hollywoods best-loved couples.

Ellen and Portia are excited about the upcoming Christmas holidays, and are looking forward to showering each other in gifts to show how much they love one another.

Ellen has admitted she has an impatient nature though, and hasnt been able to stop herself snooping around in search of presents while Portias away from home.

While Portia's in NY, I'm gonna find my present! (sic) confessed the comedienne on her Twitter page.

Ellen has already tried hunting in Portias wardrobe, and teased that she heard a horse-like noise coming from in there. The stars detective skills dont appear to be too strong though, as she still isnt sure what to expect in her stocking on Christmas morning.

Its not in her closet, unless it's behind that pony-shaped floor lamp that just whinnied (sic), she added. (C) Cover Media
