(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Emmy Rossum says on-screen sex should be realistic.

The 24-year-old actress currently stars in American television drama series Shameless. Emmy appears in a number of racy sex scenes for the new show, and despite regularly baring her body throughout the series, she does like to leave a little to the imagination.

"We like it to be realistic, but not real, so I wear something that I have called the 'vag pad. It's like a little triangular, kind of, panty liner that you stick to yourself," the actress revealed on TV show Chelsea Lately on Monday night. "If you do a lot of slipping and sliding, it tends to move a little. It's a slippery situation."

The brunette star is currently single. She was married to music executive Justin Siegel for a year and a half before he filed for divorce on September 25, 2009. Emmy began dating Counting Crows frontman Adam Duritz after touring with the band in the summer of 2009, but they broke up in September 2010. The confident actress has a definite idea of what looks good on screen and what doesnt.

"It doesn't make sense that the character would wear a bra and care at all about what she looks like when she's having sex. Sex is meant to feel good, and she wants to feel good, she told Vegas Magazine. (C) Cover Media
