Employees fired if they speak on Travolta case'

10th May 2012

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - The hotel in Beverly Hills where John Travolta reportedly sexually harassed a masseuse has advised employees to "never speak to the media."

The Oscar nominated actor was accused recently of inappropriate behaviour while receiving a massage at the hotel in January. Another man at an Atlanta based establishment has also accused the actor of egregious sexual conduct, and both masseuses have filed $2 million lawsuits.

The Beverly Hills lodging is said to have required that all staff keep quiet on the subject or be terminated.

"The hotel has held multiple meetings over the past two days, focusing on all spa employees," a source told Radar Online. "The meeting was to remind staff about the hotel policy to never speak to the media, or the public about guests of the hotel, or any activity they witness at the hotel."

"Everyone was warned that speaking to the media is grounds for termination. The management team also relayed to staff members their sexual harassment policy and if they witness any harassment, or any illicit activity, to immediately report it and it would be dealt with, and absolutely not swept under the rug. The hotel is taking this matter extremely seriously, but doesn't want this to play out in the media because it would be very disruptive to the staff and guests."

John Travolta's lawyer Marty Singer has scheduled a deposition for "John Doe #1" at his office later this month, according to reports.

The actor denies all claims. (C) Cover Media
