(Cover) - EN Movies - Will Smith is reportedly set to reprise his famous Fresh Prince character on the big screen.
The star made his acting debut on the hit American television show The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air in 1990, which focused on Will's playful character being forced to move from a tough inner city to live with his rich relatives in Bel Air, Los Angeles. It made Will a household name and ran for six years. Will went on have even greater success on the big screen, thanks to hits like Bad Boys, Independence Day and the Men in Black movies.
However, a source close to the star said he is considering reprising his Fresh Prince character, Will Smith a fictionalised version of himself.
"Will has fond memories of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and is grateful for the big break the show gave him," revealed the insider. "He's fascinated with the idea of what the character would be doing now. He might be married with kids or he may be back in Philadelphia down on his luck. Will is interested in returning to the character and getting the old cast together either for a movie or another TV project."
The show also starred James Avery, Tatyana Ali and Joseph Marcell.
Will is currently filming Men in Black III. (C) Cover Media
