(Cover) - EN Fashion - Gwen Stefani says all women should be brave and wear animal print and red lipstick.

The blonde star shot to fame as the lead singer of rock group No Doubt, although she is now recognised equally for her work in the fashion industry.

Gwen showcased the latest collection from her L.A.M.B clothing line at New York Fashion Week recently, and it was noticeably daring and very tribal.

She wanted to make the range bright and bold because she worries women are often to safe in their style decisions.

I think everyone can do an animal print and everyone can do a red lipstick - you just have to be brave," she told Access Hollywood.

The star conceded that wearing such shocking clothes can be daunting for ladies, and admitted that even she sometimes prefers to remain unnoticed in more sombre tones.

Prints are hard to pull off and do well... theyre scary. Sometimes you just wanna be black and be safe. The last few years I feel like Ive been wearing a lot of black, white and grey, she confessed. (C) Cover Media
