(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Halle Berry said the idea of winning another Oscar would blow her head off.
The 44-year-old star won the prestigious best actress award for the 2001 film Monsters Ball and the thought of being nominated for another accolade for her role in Frankie and Alice is almost too exciting for her to contemplate.
In the film the accomplished actress plays a young woman, Frankie Murdoch, with a multiple personality disorder who faces a constant personal battle not to give in to her racist alter-ego.
The movie has an Oscar buzz surrounding it, but Halle is remaining modest about the possibility of a prize.
"I never thought I'd have one, so two... I think my head would blow off probably," she told the American website Extra.
The actress also doubled up as a producer for the film, which boasts an all-star cast including Stellan Skarsgard, Phylicia Rashad and Chandra Wilson.
Because of the complex character she plays and her production responsibilities, Halle has admitted that she found the Frankie and Alice experience very tough, but it is because of this that she enjoyed it so much.
"It was definitely a challenge, but as an actor it's really one of those challenges that you just relish," she revealed. (C) Cover Media
