(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Uma Thurman and Quentin Tarantino drank wine from the actress shoes at his Friars Club roast.

The exclusive New York members club is famous for organising celebrity roastings, where stars send up their famous friends. Each year they select a member to tease, with previous victims including Hugh Hefner and Donald Trump, and this years target was the iconic moviemaker Quentin.

The talented directors roast took place yesterday, with stars such as Samuel L. Jackson, Jerry Lewis, Sarah Silverman, Rob Schneider and Richard Belze all turning up to mock Quentin in good faith.

Quentin is famed for his collaborations with stunning Hollywood actress Uma, who appeared in his highly celebrated Kill Bill movie franchise. At one point the actress toasted Quentin by giving him a particularly unique treat, as he is known for having a foot fetish.

The actress toasted him by taking off her Louboutin heels, handing one to him and pouring wine into both shoes. She and Tarantino then drank from them, reported the New York Post.

Actor Jeffrey Ross also mocked Quentin, making jokes referring to the famous notion of the Hollywood casting couch by calling him the only director in history that, after the actresses [bleep] him, they turn down the role".

He laughed that the moviemaker isnt much of a hit with the ladies, and poked fun at Quentins looks. However, his insult did at least feature a semblance of a compliment, as he mentioned how revolutionary Quentin has been for the cinematic world.

"You changed the face of cinema, I just wish cinema would return the favour, he laughed. (C) Cover Media
