Hamsalekha Desi College to expand horizons!

The famous music director of Kannada films Hamsalekha's vision of expanding his 'Desi College' has finally come true. His brainchild 'Hamsalekha Desi College' has received the required recognition and has now joined hands with Sri Veerendra Heggade of Dharmasthala, who is known for setting up of educational institutions in Dakshin Kannada district of Karnataka.
With this the joint venture of Sri Veerendra Heggde and Hamsalekha, Desi College will be starting 10 'Desi College' branches all over Karnataka. The news was disclosed by Hamsalekha on the occasion of his 59th birthday. He said that he could not have asked for anything better than joining hands with Sri Veerendra Heggade Dharmadhikari of Dharmasthala.
As of now, Hamsalekha has got 34 acres of land approved for the Hamsalekha Desi University near Channapatna. All the 10 colleges will come under this University. The administration and investment for construction is looked after by Sri veerendra Heggade and the faculty will be in the purview of Hamsalekha Desi college.
