The highly creative and potential actor Upendra, who gave the super hit Kannada film 'Super', has suddenly accepted to act in scores of films. Some of them are remake films that are not acceptable by Kannadigas.

One of the remake films is set for a big launch on September 18, that is Upendra's birthday and is a remake of the Malayalam film 'Udayanum Tharam' directed by Rosshan Andrews which had Mohan Lal, Meena and Sreenivasan in the lead. Upendra is currently also working on a film 'Godfather' that is a remake of Tamil film 'Varalaru' and one of his film that is ready for release 'Srimathi' is also a remake of Telugu film that was made in Hindi too.

Apart from these, Upendra is working on another film by P Vasu nothing about which is disclosed yet, but these is a buzz that this film is a remake too.
