(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Hugh Jackman is a "big baby" when it comes to spicy foods.
The 42-year-old Real Steel actor has played many macho action roles in his career. According to television chef Marja Vongerichten, Hugh is not very courageous in the kitchen.
"I called him a big baby because he's this guy who's an action hero, and so tough. And you know, he could barely touch a hot piece of lobster," Maria laughed to OK! magazine.
"I didn't even make the dish that he tried as spicy as I usually eat it, but he really can't handle spice. It was kind of a surprise."
Although Hugh who featured in Marja's TV show Kimchi Chronicles - may not be adept with preparing lobster, he is very much at home with a barbecue.
"He's good on the grill with some steak or chicken. He's the perfect person to cook with," Maria said.
In real life Hugh is not very similar to the daring characters he portrays in action movies. The actor has a very warm heart.
"When I think of Hugh I just think of this wonderful family man," Maria said. "He's not Wolverine at all."
Real Steel is currently in theatres. (C) Cover Media
