Rosie O'Donnell has strong' opinions

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Rosie O'Donnell appreciates being a "strong woman".

The 49-year-old comedian's newest television talk programme The Rosie Show premieres this week. Rosie is excited to delve into deep discussions on the show.

"I think of myself as a strong woman with opinions, a woman who was raised in the era of Gloria Steinem and Ms. Magazine," Rosie told USA Today.

"I think woman are allowed to have strong voices."

Rosie believes that her programme will make a big impact on many people. Airing on Oprah Winfrey's new network OWN, Rosie feels incredibly positive about the project.

"It feels like this is the best job, the best opportunity, the best environment, the most support from somebody I have the most respect and admiration for," Rosie explained.

"I know my job is to show up and be the best I can. If you build it, they're going to come. [Oprah and I are] building it."

Rosie is incredibly appreciative of the remarkable relationship that she has with Oprah. The star finds Oprah inspirational.

"[Oprah] said to me, 'I'm not your boss. We're partners. We're in business together,'" Rosie recalled. "You don't find that too often. I told her how she has changed my life."
