Despite a section of the media claiming them as waging a cold war, Simbu and Dhanush have had always shared a good rapport, at least on public platforms.

Proving this once again, Simbu has now congratulated Dhanush, who recently was honoured by the President of India, Pratibha Patil with a national award, for his performance in Aadukalam.

"Dhanush deserves a national award for his beautiful portrayal of a Madurai youth in Aadukalam. I am happy for him and congratulate him," says the actor, who is also known as STR (Silambarasan Thesingu Rajendiran).

When asked whether he has any such plans (to act in award winning movies), Simbu laughs and says, "No, I consider myself as an entertainer. I would like to do role which would entertain the audience to the maximum possible extent."

Simbu, who is at present busy shooting for osthi, has films such as Poda Podi, Kettavan and Vettai Mannan in hands.
